India Tour- indian Desert tour

Posted by: gajendra14 on: April 16, 2008

Popularly known as ‘Pink City of Rajasthan’, Jaipur is a land of rich cultural heritage.  Unfolding the imperial legacy of the glorious past of the kingdom of Maharajas, Jaipur is painted in pink, the color of prosperity and happiness. My elongated trip to the city provided me an opportunity to explore some of the most spectacular vintage masterpieces.

The entire construction of the city reminded me of the wonderlands of the stories of my childhood.  The magnificent palaces, majestic forts and citadels created a living picture of the princely era of Rajputs in front of my eyes at my first expedition to the city. The city was ruled by Maharaja Jai Singh and was the capital of his Kachwaha dynasty. The city thus was designed meticulously.

The city as I learned from my visit is one of the best planned cities. The wide boulevards and grand citadels are the marks of the thoughtful planning of the city.  Maharaja Jai Singh II and the Bengali Guru Vidyadhar who was a Hindu Priest Architect planned the city according to the principles of Hindu architectural theory.

Festivals of Kerala

Posted by: gajendra14 on: March 3, 2008

I was fortunate enough to visit Kerala last week when I got to witness huge congregation of crowd from various districts during these festivals of Kerala. My visit to Kerala was during the time of the celebration of the famous Sabrimala Festival. One of the major attractions of Kerala is the presence of numerous extravagant temples which acquire intrinsic role in the culture of Kerala as they host magnificent festivals.

Celebrated during the pilgrimage towards Sabrimala temple situated on Sahyadri Mountains, this festival propagates ideals of brotherhood and communal harmony amongst its people. I being a great devotee of Lord Ayyappa was all enthusiastic when I heard of the pilgrimage to the temple devoted to him- Shri Dharma Saastha Temple and hence, immediately packed myself for this journey. This seven day long procession to the temple is a festive season in Kerala which reaches its finale on the 14th of January.

On this day a ritualistic celebration of Makara Vilakku Puja is held post 41 days of intricate journey people celebrates the legendary event of enshrining of lord Ayyappa.

I count myself as the fortunate of the lot who witnessed the idol of Lord Ayyappa decorated with all the ancient ornaments made in gold the enshrining of the deity is the most important event of Kerala festivals. The festival then included a procession towards hill of the Sahyadri ranges to witness the celestial light that appears on this day.

I was completely mesmerized at the sight of the Makarjyothi on the hills and was deeply honored at this grand gesture of lord’s blessing to us. Such celebrations in Kerala are a measure of propagating brotherhood and love amidst people. These phenomenon event witnesses great crowds due to the faith and curiosity of the people about the divine presence of the lord in the premises of Sabrimala shrine which drove me as well to these pristine environs of Kerala.

South India Tour

Posted by: gajendra14 on: March 3, 2008

This year was the most memorable year of my college life as this time we finally went for a South India tour during our vacations. The visit to the southernmost part of our nation was an amazing experience for all of us.

Our tour to South India included the main states of the area beginning from Kerala to Tamil Nadu and moving on finally to several parts of Karnataka. South India situated in the peninsular Deccan Platueau is distinguished as the home of the Dravidians and is surrounded by three water bodies Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. The area also contains the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats and two important rivers Tungabhadra and Kaveri.

Our South India itinerary began with the visit to the pristine environs of Kerala. We explored the entire area beginning with the tranquilizing backwaters of Alleppey, Kumarakom to the sun kissed beaches of Kovalam. It was truly a heavenly experience to watch various species of animals at Thekkady National Park performing their routine works amidst the verdant environs. My most exhilarating experience was that of a drive at the traditional houseboats- Kettuvallom at the largest backwater stretch in Kerala- the Vembanad Lake.

The second half of our South India tour provided us an opportunity to visit the Southeastern coast of India- Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is stretched up to the point where the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean meets and hence is a retreat to nature’s bounty. Our tour to the state began with an exhilarating safari at Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. Our South India travel package also included visit to most splendid and amazing temples at the various temple towns of Tamil Nadu which included a visit to Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Kanchipuram, Chidambaram and Thanjavur.

One of the main attractions in South India is Karnataka and we were fortunate enough to enjoy an extensive tour of the place. We visited various cities of the state starting from Mysore- famous for its Chamundi Hills and Mysore Palace followed by visit to Srirangapatna and Sravanbelagola- where we were mesmerized at the sight of world’s tallest monolithic statue of Gommateshwara. At Belur, Aihole and Halebid we explored unique Hindu temples well known for their exquisite art and architecture. This South India tour certainly have been an experience for life as I got to witness many unexplored wonders of the Southern part of my country.

Kerala Wildlife Tour

Posted by: gajendra14 on: March 3, 2008

Last year during mid- autumn, I set off for a South India Wildlife Tour in Kerala. The tour was one fabulous expedition that I always love to recall and rewind. Kerala which is popularly known as God’s Own Kingdom, is a fascinating tourist destination in India. The place is one of the beautiful and scenic states in India enriched by an affluent flora and fauna. Further favoured by a cool climate my Kerala Wildlife Tour was among the best wildlife trips I have ever embarked on.

My Wildlife Tour in Kerala lasted for about a month during which I could spot a variety of wild animals including leopards, sambhar, gaur, Bison, lion- tailed macaque, spotted deer, langur etc. I also enjoyed watching a variety of exotic and beautiful birds including some of the migratory birds. It was like a dream come true for me during the tour which was favoured by the valued assistances of the Tour Operators in Kerala.

I have already explored a Kerala Tour but unluckily due to some time restraint I could not enjoy a particular wildlife tour in the state. And even after I have accomplished the feat I still crave for another tour in the state in my next India Tour.

I am planning for another Wildlife Tour in India again during which I will also spend some time in Kerala. The state fascinates me more than any other state in the country. Ranging from its serene backwaters to its exotic and lustrous beaches the state is an ideal destination for either a wildlife tour or a general expedition.

Medical Treatments

Posted by: gajendra14 on: March 3, 2008

This year was a life changing experience for me as I faced the most traumatic phase of my life. My everyday activity of jogging took a deadly turn as I was struck by a car. The injury was critical and I was immediately provided medical treatments. My family now tells me that I had Maxillofacial injuries which included injury to the mouth, face and jaw. I was immediately provided most efficient medical help but I was left with those ugly scars and marks on my face and that is when I decided to receive medical treatments in India.

Apart from the usual medical assistance the ways of medical facilities in India helped me with its effective measures providing quick recovery. The customized healthcare services provided for my facial plastic surgery was a great asset to my treatment. The reconstructive surgery was beneficial for enhancing my appearance by remolding my damaged skin.

My medical treatment in abroad was performed by the best practitioners in the world at India. My specialist was always of great help as he from the very onset provided me free consultation providing me the right knowledge about my state and thereafter performing my emergency medical treatments. The affordable price of the surgery and finally the immediate performance of my surgery without any waiting period all availed me with better facilities than in the Western countries. Today I have been blessed with a new radiating skin with no scars which has truly given me another chance to live my life in a new refreshing manner.

Medical Services

Last year I went for a Medical Treatment in India and I was quite impressed by the various Medical Services available in the country.  Medical treatment in India has many plus factors among which budget is one primary factor. The same facilities and services are availed in the country at a fraction of cost as compared to the medical cost in the Western countries.

Indian medical centres recommend world wide patients with the best available medical facilities and services. They also take utmost care of various appointments, accommodation and other escort services as required.  As such Medical Treatment Abroad in India is highly becoming an advanced trend nowadays.

Emergency Medical Treatment is also becoming one latest inclination in the country which handles patients across the globe and recommends them to the best possible medical establishment in India. The medical teams render effective treatment and service to any kind of emergency treatment in any of its medical centre.

I underwent my treatment in Apollo hospital (indian-medical-center.com) and was rendered the best treatment and care I have been looking forward to. I hardly imagined that there would be a wide range of Medical Services in India, which returns back the lost smiles to global patients. I was also provided free consultation for the various types of treatments recommended for my illness. They did not even take much amount of time for the treatment which made my treatment quite a relaxing one.

During my medical treatment I also came to know that most of the medical staffs ranging from the doctors to the nurses were trained professionals from various foreign medical universities. They entrusted me with positive faith and support for my treatment and it made me feel quite at home.

And the plus factor of a Medical Treatment in India is that one needs to spend a fraction of the cost in the western countries.

Indian Medical centres are now becoming more and more popular. In hospitals like Apollo one can avail time efficiency and satisfactory success. I also underwent my treatment in Apollo hospital. The staffs of the hospital also were very cordial people who made my medical trip a fond memory to remember.

I am quite grateful to the Medical Tour Operators in India. They render me with every help and assistance which made my trip a successful and convenient one. I was quite unsure of everything about the trip but with their valuable help everything went on smoothly. I am planning another medical trip in India for a general treatment next year. And I look forward to further advancements in the field. One can always look forward to India as an ideal nation to undergo any medical treatment. The medical facilities in the nation are quite advanced and at par with the various facilities available in the western countries.

Goa, Goa Tour

Posted by: gajendra14 on: March 3, 2008

I have always been fascinated with beaches and hence, this year I decided to pay a visit to the land of beauteous beaches of Goa. Located on the west coast of India, it is situated in the region known as the Konkan and is blessed with a large coastline as it is decked with Arabian Sea.

My Goa tour was planned keeping in view my love for beaches and hence I got a whole week for strolling at some of the most spectacular beaches of Goa. Renowned for its beaches, Goa is a paradise for tourists and is visited by thousands of international and domestic tourists every year.

As planned under my Goa travel guide I first visited the famous Candolim Beach a famous place which has a history of a Goan freedom fighter. At Candolim at opted for a cheap accommodation by the sea for enjoying the scenic beauty of the beaches in its raw form. Thereafter I visited Sinquerim beach the sight of the clean water, white sand and the historic Fort Aguada was a purely enchanting view of the beach.

My Goa travel package provided me an opportunity to visit Baga Beach as well. This is a small fishing beach which is embellished with shady groves of palms and clear waters which is safe for swimming. My most favorite memory of Goa tour was the visit to Bambolim Beach this is a small, clean and largely undiscovered beach and my stay here was very peaceful experience.

Rest of my journey to the place was full of exploring main attractions in Goa. I visited various magnificent churches which apart from being of spiritual value also uphold historic significance. I visited various places such as Our Lad of Rosary, The Rachol Seminary, Church of St. Francis of Assisi, The Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus. The abundance of natural beauty and warm hospitality of the city has given me the most overwhelming experience of my life.
